Switching things over! New posts will be up here.
A short, but awesome, trip to NY that came up unexpectedly in the fall. I met my sister there for a long weekend - the first time we ever traveled together!
Visits home to La Crosse are the best! I drank lattes and played bananagrams with my mom and little sister at our local Co-op (my favorite place),

explored hiking and biking trails with my dad,

and devoured summery foods and Miss Marple stories on the front porch.

I love the beautiful, little town of La Crosse. And of course, I love my family :)
I’m unpacking and repacking my suitcase as I prepare to hop on a train for upstate NY tomorrow, and I started thinking about how my first year out of school has come to an end and the second is now beginning. The first was a total success! I spent the time…
Living in 3 countries and visiting major cities
Exploring new sights, sounds, smells, and tastes
Playing in an orchestra and studying privately
Meeting many new and wonderful people
Testing my ability to adapt
Working on map reading skills and redefining what it means to get lost :)

Cheers to my next year being completely different and every bit as wonderful!
